CVS Makeup Haul!

I know I haven't posted in a while which is why I decided to post today. I haven't really done any makeup looks worth a blog entry but today I did manage to score well. I haven't had much Cover Girl makeup on account of it isn't as cheap as say, Wet N' Wild for example. That's okay though I just so happened to have the extra dough and treated myself to some Cover Girl Cosmetics.
As to the items I bought I figured "go big or go home" in a matter of speaking anyway. I'm still a cheap-skate but baby steps right? Especially when you're spending your hard earned money in stead of someone else's (Working on that as we speak, promise) It's easy to be stingy as fuck which is typically me to a Tee.
I bough 3 lipsticks of a metallic nature. They are called
Stop The Press, it's a lavender- ish color, Deeper which is a dark blue, and Get away which is more or less a darker reddish brown which is always my go-to color since... forever it would seem. The truth is ever since I saw my fair skinned sister Janet wear it in her High School portrait I have been crazy in love with it. I don't know if it was the dark color on extremely fair skin that just seemed to just have me in awe, that's to be determined still.
To start with a look you need a good Foundation so I picked up a Cover Girl brand. Vitalist Healthy Elixer in shade 720. I haven't used it yet but it's oil free so i'm rather excited to play with it. I am rather fangirling over the Katy Perry sub-brand of the Cover Girl brand so I purchased a Katy Perry KP24 "Pounce" Gloss, I've always been a bit of a purple fan so i'm looking forward to this as well. The third thing I couldn't help but purchase an eye shadow palette. It was called TRUNAKED "Dazed" palette. It just called to me I couldn't help it. You've already seen the three metallic lipsticks I bought. So overall i'd say it was a good score.
The whole purchase rang in at $66 and some change. I was nervous because I only had $61 on me. After using my CVS card it went down to $49 and some change so I was stoked! I left the store 6 makeup items richer.
When I got home my mom asked me if I wanted the "little" Flamingo bag she bought this morning as a jumbo makeup bag. I was all over that considering my huge makeup case is packed!
