Organizing
I finally found the third Makeup bag I had lost a while ago. I knew generally where it was but not where my mother hid it. It was in the 1st floor bathroom at the bottom of a bin where I also found the eye shadow palette she had bought me, thank heavens! I had decided to organize all my makeup into these three bags. The left bag is two tiered so in that one I put my foundation, contouring supplies, perfume, and dark circle correcting serum in the bottom tier. The top tier I had placed all my lipsticks and lip glosses along with the eye shadow palette I ended up finding since that was the only place it would fit.
The second bag is mainly everything I plan to wear on any specific day so I can keep it in my purse for touch-ups throughout the day. The jeweled Case is where i'm keeping all my eye products. Eye shadows, eye liners, mascara, brow pencils, and eyebrow stencils. I have so much of all that crap! As you can see, that appears the most full. It's pretty much full to the brim. I think i'll have to invest in more makeup bags. Perhaps a big organizing case even.
I bought the two tiered one on the Wish app, The second one was given to me for Christmas by my former boss (I miss you Terry!), and the 3rd was a freebie when my mother took me to Macy's to their Lancome kiosk for a little makeup shopping spree for my birthday one year. They had a couple extras from their last promotion so they threw it in for me as well as an extra makeup brush they had for foundation but eventually the head popped off. The jeweled one was the last one they had too which was cool that they'd part with it. They were very kind there.
Makeup has been extremely fun to play with. I even have a ton of nail polish that's idling in my drawer out of sight from my son. I'm kind of afraid to organize them and put them out on display because my 5 year old son has gotten into the habit of playing with them trying to paint his own nails therefore the nail polish gets everywhere! It's already stained my bed sheets and a little had gotten onto my phone screen but luckily it's on my case's screen protector, nothing a little nail polish remover wouldn't fix.
I'm not even gonna lie, I enjoy doing manicures and pedicures with my little boy. I feel like it's teaching him to be good to women and pamper them. A skill he could take with him when he's older and starts having girlfriends or even a daughter of his own one day. He won't be repulsed by her wanting to paint his nails. That's just my thinking though, I could be wrong.
